“Site Purpose” Option

The Riverside Unified School District is far more aggressive in setting continuous improvement goals than the State of California and the vast majority of other California school districts by establishing its own local Success Indicators Dashboard.  This online Dashboard provides community members, as well as employees, with the opportunity to see the high expectations that Riverside Unified School District has set for itself and how Riverside Unified School District is raising the bar for even higher student success in and out of school while focusing on equity for all students.

Riverside Unified School District has 14 Success Indicators. They are as follows:

* Directly aligns with the State’s Dashboard accountability system.

Of the 14 RUSD Success Indicators, seven indicators align directly with the State’s accountability Dashboard.  The remaining seven indicators align indirectly, but are supportive of, the State’s accountability indicators.

This website has a wealth of information about the overall Riverside Unified School District as well as for each school within the district on each of these 14 Success Indicators.

• The “Video Introduction” option briefly illustrates how to access the various features of the website.
• The “Site Glossary” option defines and briefly explains each Success Indicator.
• The “Related Resources” option provides links to sources that provide more details on Success Indicator related topics.
• The “Public Portal” option will take you directly to where there is numerical information is located for each Success Indicator. You may view information at the overall school district level and/or view information at school level.  In addition, you may view information by student groups.
• The “Employee Portal” option will take employees to more detailed, confidential information on each Success Indicator. (Confidential information is restricted to those employees who have a professional reason for accessing it.)
